Margaret spent part of the Second World War living with her nieces, Mary and Theodora, in the Lake District. In the first of these videos Theodora's daughter, Jane, shares her memories of that period. Later in the war, Mary and Theodora returned to their home in Dorking, where Margaret and Lilian were close neighbours.
